Accessibility

At Rotherham Charter, we are committed to providing a website that is accessible for everyone, by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, set up by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and aiming to achieve the Double-A standard.

We have enabled tools that allow disabled users to gain a better experience when using the website. This includes the elderly and those with visual, hearing, cognitive or motor impairments.

We have provided buttons to toggle between a high contrast version of the website or a greyscale version.

The high contrast version assists users with visual impairments by making text easier to read on your device. It sets the background colour as black and all text as white, with links clearly defined in blue.

The greyscale version is aimed at users that have issues with colour blindness. The different shades of grey help distinguish between red, green and blue colours.
